This waterfall really took me by surprise. I expected it to be dry, maybe just a trickle of water if I was lucky. Well, I lucked out because this was one of the more unique and beautiful waterfalls I had ever seen.
As you can see from the photo, the water flows down a mountain stream, the Cullasaja River, then abruptly free-falls over a cliff ledge. Behind the waterfall is a somewhat dry area where people can walk under and view the water falling over their heads.
